家奇覺得說中文的機會太少了。王老師説,可以幫同學們找從中國來的留學生做語伴,家奇很高興。家興正好也想找個語伴練習中文,於是兩個人都報了名。一個星期以後,家奇收到了語伴的郵件。他們約好下午四點在圖書館門前見面。家奇只知道語伴是個女的,不知道她的性格怎麽樣,也不知道他們能不能合得來,所以他一點兒緊張。
三點五十五,家奇就到了圖書館門前。兩分鍾後,他看見了他的語伴,一個中國女學生。他們先説了半個小時的英語,然後又説了半個小時的漢語。他們都覺得這種語言交換對他們幫助很大,決定以後每個禮拜都見一次面。
