English
During today’s Chinese class, the teacher asked everyone to form groups and talk about their hobbies. Then, each group would introduce their partner’s hobbies to the rest of the class. The students paired up into seven groups. Some had different interests, while others shared common hobbies. The more they talked, the livelier the discussion became, creating a very active and enthusiastic atmosphere. Jiaxing and Jiaqi were assigned to the same group. Jiaxing said he had so many hobbies that he didn’t even know where to begin.
When he was young, he loved playing soccer the most. Later, he became interested in cycling. After that, he also liked baseball, basketball, and tennis. Now, he goes swimming every day. Jiaqi said that he loves painting the most and has wanted to be a painter since he was a child. Additionally, he enjoys playing chess and the guitar. In the future, if he has the opportunity, he also wants to go to China to learn calligraphy. Everyone said that Jiaqi is very talented and skilled in many arts—music, chess, calligraphy, and painting—he excels in all of them.
